NOMS Co-financing Programme working with the European Social Fund giving 100% added value – that’s “priceless”
Between 2009 and 2014 NOMS, together with the European Social Fund, is co-financing a £280 million programme that will improve the employability of over 100,000 offenders in England. This will be managed by operating 2 rounds of expenditure. Round 1 will run from 2009-2011 and Round 2 will operate from 2011-2014. Click here for details of successful sub-contractors. There is a growing emphasis on sustainable development across government and in relation to future employment with the opportunities in this field likely to increase significantly within the short, medium and long term at all skill levels.
NOMS CFO will work with the other Co Financing Organisation’s including the LSC SFA, DWP and Jobcentre Plus to promote the sustainable development employment agenda.
