Whitehouse Enterprises is an Ipswich based Social Firm designed and built by Suffolk County Council in 1980. The main business areas are:

The enterprise was originally established to provide paid employment for people with a range of disabilities distinctly disadvantaged in the labour market. In 2001 this ethos changed to helping people to gain enough skills and confidence to move back out into the labour market, with assistance to overcome barriers where required. Alongside the change in employment provision there is also a changing business ethos and Whitehouse Enterprises is emerging from the County Council as an independent Social Firm in it’s own right.
