Delegates were asked what they thought were the greatest opportunities and threats for the Social Firm sector.

The top three opportunites mentioned were:
1. influencing the government and using SROI techniques to help with this
2. working with the private sector and CSR partnerships
3. working with entrepreneurs/making business acquisitions.

The top three threats mentioned were:
1. lack of government understanding/interest
2. the inability to demonstrate the impact/benefit of the sector
3. lack of awareness of what Social Firms are (e.g. businesses not charies).
